A—CSS—Crisp articulation; voices let it all hang out; good climactic cadence

B—Cr—Chorus a little listless, stuffy due to draggy tempo; clear voices; chickens best 2nd time through

A—Et—Ileana Cotrubas; sweetly operatic; good high notes, breathing; “wrong” chord on “vir-gin-E” (does any of Paumgartner, Fricsay, or Davis, all of whom specify R?–no)

A—S—Slow, stately, still works; good brass

B—H—Slow, a bit stodgy and mechanical

A—B—Wonderful voices; more peaceful than jaunty; detached strings at B
