B—LT—Longest; Delores Ziegler; Vocalise, with subdued orchestra; a little lacking in energy

A—Gr—Solemn, smooth; good balance with orchestra

B—DD—Good voices, but no battle; a little detached (“light, playful” per liner notes)

A—QT—Chorus hymnlike, but well set off by anguished, jagged, staggering orchestra

A—Qu—Good blend of voices; serenely buoyant rather than raucous; (‘lilt, graceful” per liner notes)

B—CSS—Less vigorous than many; voice entries not crisp

B—Cr—Joyful, but a little too restrained; no chickens; good balance with orchestra

A—Et—Edith Wiens; sweet, unaffected love song; a little strident on highest note; tour de force trill at end of cadenza in complete synchrony with woodwind trio

A—S—Slow, broad, stately; very nice buildup to “Pleni sunt coeli”; good brass

A—H—Brisk pace, crisp entrances; exuberant, joyous

A—B—Jaunty, jolly, fun; voices blend well and assert well individually; detached strings at B; (“inventive, virtuosic” per liner notes)
